We're moving on Thursday. Right downstairs in the same house. Pretty weird.
We're going with Seattle Movers, a division of Mountain Movers. There is this other company called Awesome Movers, ("we're three men and a truck"), but the owner has a knee condition he's in physical therapy for. Sorry, ladies.
Why movers and not friends? Cause let's get this over quickly and efficiently. Cause Kav, our man who lives downstairs, is gonna split the cost with us. Cause using movers reduces the stress value, to my muscles and my sanity. Cause we can afford it. Cause asking friends to help you move always makes them hate you for it afterward--either there wasn't enough pizza, or there was too much stuff.
We're gonna make it even more affordable by doing as much pre-packing as we can. The hourly rate for these guys is around $100/hr.
Speaking of which, Megan and I are now about to do some packing. She says no guitar right now dada, time to do what's important. Cart before the horse and all that.
